January Cornerstone: Learning and Literacy
A "Laser Focus" on Student Learning
On Monday, Jason Lords was invited to present to both the House Education and Senate Education committees about the work we are doing in D93 as a professional learning community When Senator Dave Lentz introduced Jason to the committee, he said "We have one of the flagship districts in the state here today . . . I happen to know personally of the work they do and the excellent things they do in our state." House Chair Julie Yamamoto, a fellow educator, also commended on our "laser focus" to design success for every student.
I want to express my appreciation for the dedication of our teachers and staff who hard work every day to make our promise to design success for every student a reality.
And I want to say thank you to our community for supporting us in that work.
It is awesome to get be part of such a great community and school district.
-Dr. Scott Woolstenhulme, Superintendent of Schools
