At the end of December, we will recognize individuals who have been exceptional examples of the D93 cornerstone values: integrity, teamwork, positivity, and learning. To nominate an individual to be recognized for their example, please click the button below or scan the QR code.
Weekly Schedule
Monday Schedule for Middle School & High School Students
For the first two Mondays of a new trimester (November 27th and December 4th), all 7th - 12th grade students are required to attend all classes. Starting on December 11th, some students may be excused from attending school in person, but this does not mean that Mondays are a day off for students. On Monday mornings, all students are expected to participate in learning activities in one of the following ways:
In-person Intervention & Support
Please note: Attendance on Mondays is not based on low grades, but on whether students have shown they have learned essential concepts and skills in each unit of instruction
Extended Learning Activities
- Apply their learning to real-world situations or problems.
- Learn additional skills and concepts that are important, but not absolutely essential,
- Demonstrate their mastery of skills and concepts at deeper levels of application and understanding,
- Learn skills and concepts that are above their current grade level.
D93 Board News
Willow Creek Elementary color scheme
Now that we have selected Willow Creek as the name for our new elementary school, we also need to select the school color scheme. If you would like to give your input on the colors, please go to d93.org/colorsurvey
Board Work Session
At their work session on Wednesday, the Board reviewed the sale of the bonds for the new elementary school. The bonds sold at a true interest cost of 3.86%. The summary document below provides more detailed information about the sale of the bonds.
The next Board Meeting will be a Regular Meeting on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the PLC Building located at 3442 E. Iona Rd, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83401.
Child Nutrition
Families in our area are struggling to pay for their school meals. This month is a great time to donate to ensure that kids can focus on learning and not be hungry.
D93 News
We are working on some exciting stories, including a behind the scenes look at tomorrow’s Feel Good Friday from East Idaho News. The entire sixth grade at Hillview this week for something pretty special. We can't wait to see the story on Friday! We will also be including it in next week's D93 News.

The Hillcrest Knights just had their first undefeated regular season football team in school history and they finish the season by winning the second place trophy at state. Lori caught up with Conner Mecham who played on the team to get his thoughts on the incredible season.

ParentGuidance.org is website with free online courses and resources for parents and anyone who needs support. There is Parent Coaching, Ask a Therapist and Get Help options as well as specialized courses for your specific needs and support measures. Spanish is available if needed. Again these services are free.

Students, parents, and employees can reach out for help with bullying, harassment, suicidal tendencies, self-harm, threats, or to report weapons at school by going to d93.org/gethelp or sending the text @gethelp to 855-528-0074.
