Thunder Ridge Drama Students Recognized
The Board recognized Thunder Ridge drama students Connor Evans, who won back to back state championships in Properties Design, and Kinley Friess, who won two state drama championships in both Makeup Design and Scenic Design.
Willow Creek Elementary Site and Colors Approved
The Board unanimously approved the site and the color scheme for Willow Creek Elementary. The "midnight" color scheme received the highest ranking from our families and employees. Thank you to all who participated.
Proposed Changes to Attendance Policy
We proposed a few changes to our Attendance Policy based on feedback from 1st Trimester. These changes were approved for public review. You may submit comments by going to d93.org/policyreview

Families in our area are struggling to pay for their school meals. This month is a great time to donate to ensure that kids can focus on learning and not be hungry. We have added a QR code for a quick and easy way to donate.

Parent and Family Learning
Becoming a Love and Logic Parent
Steve Dewey, a teacher in our district is teaching a Becoming a Love and Logic Parent class for parents on Thursday nights starting January 11th and ending February 22nd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Sandcreek Middle School in room A5. Steve has taught this class for the past 19 years for parents and anyone wanting to make parenting and teaching fun and rewarding. UTV Holiday Light Parade
UTV Holiday Light Parade at the Great Snake River Greenbelt. Bring your UTV, Side by Side (74 inch max width), ATV all decorated and lit up to the east parking lot of the Mountain America Center (1690 Event Ctr. Dr, Idaho Falls, ID) December 22, 2023 at 7 PM to join in the 1st Annual Great Snake River Greenbelt Holiday Light Parade! The parade will travel on the Greenbelt trail and return back to the Mountain America Center for donuts and hot chocolate. Prize for the best lit vehicle and more!
To enter the parade, participants must bring five cans of food for the Community Food Basket Idaho Falls. Participants must also have a side-by-side or UTV decorated in holiday lights to participate. Nights of Lights
Kick off your family's Christmas light parade by visiting Teton Toyota, December 18th-20th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. for free hot chocolate, coffee, and sweet treats.

There is Parent Coaching, Ask a Therapist and Get Help options as well as specialized courses for your specific needs and support measures. Spanish is available if needed. Again these services are free.
