Planning Changes for the 2026-2027 School Year in D93

With Willow Creek Elementary set to open next year, we're getting ready to start planning new elementary school boundaries for the 2026-2027 school year. While our elementary enrollment has grown by about 800 students since Summit Hills opened in 2012, this growth has slowed in recent years. With this slowdown, we may not build another elementary school for another decade. With the hope of keeping the new boundaries in place for the next ten years or longer, we will be evaluating making changes at all elementary schools across District 93.

As we plan the new boundaries for elementary schools, will you please share your thoughts on how important each of the following ideas about school boundaries is to you?

Eliminate boundary islands that separate neighborhoods from schools.

Use all available classrooms

The only way to align all elementary school boundaries with middle school and high school boundaries will be to change the boundaries for the high schools and middle schools at the same. Knowing that we would have to change those boundaries as well, how would you rate the importance of this idea?
